Darron Chapman

Managing Director

Darron is passionate about continuing TFPL's contribution to the knowledge and information world, and to underpinning this with an integrated portfolio of recruitment, consultancy and training capability.

Darron has worked with TFPL for 18 years, initially focusing on recruitment and becoming Director of recruitment in 1997. During this time he has ensured that TFPL's recruitment services are part of a fully integrated portfolio of services provided by TFPL for all sectors of the information world in the UK and overseas. This has given him a broad and unique view of developments in the information and business world. As an established member of the executive team his extensive knowledge of the information world and his management responsibilities has helped determine the direction of the company.

Darron has played an active role in TFPL's thought leadership programmes such as ebic and the Bath Club. He has recently championed and directed a research project on information roles in the digital world and is currently preparing to lead a project aimed at making the management of information a more visible subject in the school curriculum. He launched the first recruitment service dedicated to knowledge management.
