From our resources section you can gain access to TFPL expert reports based on recent research undertaken by TFPL in areas such as knowledge management, business information, and knowledge and information management skills development. Our CKO Summit Reports summarise the key learnings from our annual CKO Summits events attended by public and private sector leaders in knowledge management. TFPL reports can be ordered from our report orders page and, in the case of CKO Summit Reports, downloaded from this web site for free.

TFPL have also published a dictionary of knowledge and information management competencies to help enable organisations define knowledge and information roles which corporate competency frameworks seldom cover adequately. The TFPL Knowledge and Information Management (KIM) Competency Dictionary provides clear definitions of competencies specifically required for information and knowledge roles but which can also be incorporated into a corporate framework. The KIM Competency Dictionary was published in June 2003 and is available for purchase for £175/$275 (paper format) or £350/$550 (CD format).

TFPL have developed a Knowledge and Information Management Skills Toolkit, a web-based diagnostic toolkit focused on core knowledge and information roles and for the development of knowledge and information skills. For more information about the Skills Toolkit including and how to try the Skills Toolkit for free, go to the Knowledge and Information Management Skills Toolkit page.

TFPL have also created an information audit tool called AutoInfoAudit which is designed to give you a starting point for assessing your organisation's information management approach. The AutoInfoAudit is freely available by registering to use it on our information audit page.
