introduction:

Information and knowledge auditing can be a powerful tool for improving business efficiency and effectiveness as well as being a useful way of raising the profile of information management within organisations. It is also a valuable tool for providing a sound evidence base for demonstrating your value to the organisation

This practical and intensive course provides a thorough grounding in planning, managing and carrying out audits and looks at how different techniques can be used to tackle different business challenges. The process is explained within the context of realistic business scenarios with an emphasis on turning audit findings into practical change and business gains. The aim is to leave delegates with a solid basis for planning and carrying out audits in their own organisations. In addition, through case studies the course will look at how recommendations can be carried forward through the effective management of change.
