Skills & competencies

TFPL understands the skills and competencies required to succeed in information, knowledge, records and web content management. Our work recruiting, training and advising our clients, combined with regular research projects, means that we understand and can advise on the skills and competencies needed by the marketplace.

We have worked with clients to create customised skills frameworks and competency dictionaries that link into existing organisational tools and reflect critical strategic objectives.

Competency Dictionary

We have developed a dictionary of knowledge and information management competencies. It provides four levels of application (strategic leadership, team leadership, team membership and all employees) with each definition including core, premium and unacceptable behaviours.
