Knowledge Management Business Analyst – Law firm – London – 9 month contract
A leading law firm has a contract job opportunity for a Business Analyst who can provide change management and consultancy to lawyers across the organisation to support the implementation of their major Knowledge Platform project.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for the identification, creation and management of requirements which need to be delivered.
You will form part of the Knowledge Platform project team and be able to show leadership as well as being responsible for delivering project outputs.
You should be knowledgeable and enthusiastic of Knowledge Management systems and processes, the way lawyers work and possess a good understanding of content at a metadata level.
Specific job responsibilities may also include:
Design workshops with lawyers to identify opportunities for new deliverables and translate them into requirements.
analyse content and data including migration from legacy systems.
drive innovation of solutions
content management, search and digital delivery
Create imaginative presentations, summaries and processes which engage non-technical audiences
changing behaviours and current ways of doing things.
Create flexible and engaging training, adoption and implementation outputs
This would suit someone with:
Experience in knowledge management – this should be a speciality of yours
Used to working in a client facing role, preferably with lawyers.
Legal sector experience is highly desirable
Experience working with technology platforms such as SharePoint, HighQ or Enterprise search
Experience in working on complex projects and programmes
Change management experience is desirable
Engaging personality with gravitas and excellent communication and presentation skills.
This is a transformation rather than a technical delivery role.
