About the company

Prestigious charitable institute has a full-time temporary Cataloguing Archivist job for a duration of ten months.

What you'll be doing

You'll be working on a large, complex collection and so will be able to demonstrate proven experience in a similar archival cataloguing role.

Why you’ll be hired

To be successful in this cataloguing archive job you will have experience of integrating uncatalogued material in to an existing archive structure, along with appraisal and selection skills. Knowledge and experience of archival descriptive standards including ISAD(G), ISAAR, and the use of authority files and subject indexes such as LCSH and MeSH are also required. You'll be joining a project that has already started and so we are looking for someone who can work to pre-established targets and deadlines. If you have experience of using CALM for archives management, make sure you let us know.
