Customer Services in Parts Department  (HG)

Chiswick

£18,000 to £22,000

37.5 hours a week 9AM TO 5.30PM Mon to Fri

About the company:

Based in Chiswick, and reporting to the Customer Services Manager provides broad assistance to ensure the overall provision for customer Services

Skills:

The Customer Service and Credit Clerk must be confident, able to use their own initiative, and possess the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organisation. Previous experience of working within a parts department is preferable but not essential, as is the ability to work within a close team. Good customer liaison skills are essential. Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel is crucial. The major areas covered are:

What you’ll be doing

  • Taking and dealing with customer spare parts queries and complaints
  • Raising spare parts credits
  • Chasing Service Job timed deliveries and obtaining P.O.D’s
  • Calling and receiving calls from customers & engineers to arrange collections
  • Arranging collections with courier company’s
  • Detailing service job collections on spreadsheets
  • Monitoring service levels of courier companies
  • Dealing with problems with PDA Collections
  • Ordering stationery
  • Inputting P.O.D’s on spreadsheets for Service Jobs
  • Check all returned parts have been taken off jobs
  • Investigate any discrepancies within Service Job Returns
  • Customer Invoice queries and logging complaints and details in the dispute management system
  • Arranging courier paperwork
  • Filing of orders, courier paperwork & customer Faxes
  • Such other duties that may be allocated.
