A leading global strategy consultancy has a contract job opportunity for a Knowledge and Information Assistant. This position is offered on a 12 month contract basis and is based in London.
Key job responsibilities will revolve around the support of a range of elements of the Knowledge Management tools. This may include gathering knowledge and content from colleagues across the business, managing and uploading content to the intranet; helping to manage the documents of the knowledge collection, gathering and publishing practice material.
The successful applicant will possess a strong degree and a genuine interest in knowledge and information management, or already possess some experience in a knowledge management, information management or content management role, gained within a knowledge or research related team.
You will possess:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A professional attitude with the ability to multi-task and work with great attention to detail.
- An understanding of the importance of knowledge management to an organisation
- Initiative and be self-motivated
- Strong IT skills and general aptitude to learn new systems
An interest in the energy/oil and gas industry would be a bonus.
