A Knowledge Manager is urgently sought, to be based in Newcastle with some remote working possible.

This is a great permanent job opportunity for a Knowledge Management or Information management professional to take responsibility for the development and management of an effective knowledge and information management service that ensures information is captured, stored and disseminated effectively

This is a standalone role with a variety of job responsibilities, such as:

- review current knowledge processes and systems and developing a knowledge strategy

- build relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business

- plan, budget and implement knowledge process and system improvements

- organise and maintain information on the intranet

- provide a comprehensive enquiry and research service

- provide an internal current awareness service

- manage information services including subscriptions and library resources

It is essential that you have a strong Knowledge and Information Management background

Key job requirements and person specifications include:

- Previous information services experience

- Proven knowledge and experience in managing legal and business research and the use of online databases

- Strong written and verbal communications

- Highly proactive: the ability to lead by example

- Enthusiastic, driven and a ‘can-do’ approach

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate sound written and verbal communication skills
