About the company

Ready to lead and develop a Records Management service?

What you'll be doing

A professional membership organisation supporting the medical sector is recruiting for a permanent Records Management job. The Records Manager will oversee and develop the two-person Records Management team which sits with the wider Information Management department. The organisation has embraced electronic records management but this job offers many opportunities to engage stakeholders, promote the Records Management team and the rest of the Information Management department, and roll out various IT systems which will further improve Records Management practices across the organisation.

Why you’ll be hired

This Records Management job would suit an experienced Records Manager with previous experience managing a small team and a clear track record of using Sharepoint as an Electronic Document Records Management System. As a significant part of this job will involve working with stakeholders throughout the organisation there will be a strong emphasis on the ability of the Records Manager to build functional working relationships and to negotiate and influence effectively.

Why you should apply

This job is a good opportunity to build upon your leadership skills and to guide the Records Management team through various system implementations and upgrade projects. The Information Management department places a great deal of importance on working collaboratively to highlight the variety of specialist services offered by the department to the wider organisation. Now is a perfect time for a newly appointed Records Manager to reach out to different departments to help them embrace the new developments planned for Records Management.
