A leading law firm has a great new job opportunity for a law librarian to fill the position of Research Analyst.
The organisation is looking for a technologically savvy law librarian with initiative and excellent analytical skills to serve as a Research Analyst to join the Knowledge Management Department in the London office.
You will be the sole library and information person in the London office, as part of a larger knowledge and information team abroad.
Key job responsibilities will include providing complex legal and transactional research in a global law firm practice. You will have the opportunity to primarily support the London lawyers and support staff and advance the firm’s research and knowledge management initiatives.
You will provide customised research services
You will possess excellent analytical skills to provide pin-pointed legal and business research , using appropriate fee based, print and online resources, to provide excellent practice support.
You will use your project management and planning skills to prioritize competing assignments, work within recognized budgetary constraints and consistently meet tight deadlines.
You will provide lawyer, trainee and support staff orientations on Knowledge resources and tools.
You will manage the digital collection and provide budget management input.
