Researcher – Management Consultancy – Central London

We are looking for a Researcher to join the team of this successful, global management consultancy, a global strategy consulting firm that uses deep industry expertise and rigorous analysis to help its clients.

In addition to providing business research support for project work and sales efforts, such as market mapping, competitor analysis, etc., the Researcher will also be responsible for seeking out and expanding the range of datasets used to deliver client work.

This role will be responsible for the provision of on-the-ground support to project teams, collating research information to support Partners’ sales efforts as well as managing data licences and delivering training.

Key responsibilities:

  • Helping project teams find critical information, leveraging databases as well as other information online
  • Seeking out new varied data sources, including working closely with the Data & Analytics team to build out a library of data sources
  • Day-to-day administration including working with vendors, negotiating licence agreements, liaising with internal core services teams

You will have experience working in a business research department or professional services firm undertaking a research role, with advanced research skills, experience of manipulating and transforming datasets, good commercial awareness, and familiarity with using a range of online business research databases e.g. Bloomberg, Mergermarket and Factiva, inter alia.
