About the company

We are working with a global software firm, a firm that supports thousands of libraries worldwide, providing shared technology services, original research and community programs.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an Account Manager to join the UK sales team to drive take-up of a particular software in to the library sector.


What you'll be doing

As the successful candidate you will be called upon to visit key accounts, gain new accounts, make presentations and support the writing and submissions of official tenders; the aim is to retain current subscriptions and to win new business.

This is an exciting time to join the team.


Why you’ll be hired

We are looking for an experienced sales person with practical experience of libraries, ideally with an information technologies or library systems software background.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Willingness to travel
- Experience of CRM systems

This role is an opportunity to work from home, with a regional responsibility for the southern half of the UK generally.
