About the company

A leading law firm has a current job opportunity for a Senior Records Coordinator to join a small existing team in its central London offices.


What you'll be doing

The job responsibilities include ensuring adherence to the organisation's policies and procedures, providing advice and training about Records Management best practice, data privacy and risk management issues.



You will coordinate primary operational functions of the records department, including:



- file management of physical and electronic records

- intake and release of records

- destruction requests

- data access requests

- case room management

- records retention


Why you’ll be hired

This job would suit a Records Management professional with:



- extensive knowledge of records procedures and records retention principles and practices

- strong written and verbal communication skills

- a thorough knowledge of physical and electronic resources including a Records or Document Management System (EDRMS/DMS)

- strong interpersonal skills; ability that will enable you to deal effectively with the lawyers and other staff

- the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus

- the ability to analyse problems and make sound decisions
