Senior Research Executive          

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000

Based: West London

What you will be doing

The Senior Research Executive will have a key involvement in all stages of research.  At this level the focus is on analysis and report generation, and client exposure is increased.  SREs will also gain management skills at this level, overseeing the work of juniors. Several years Market Research experience in a healthcare or consumer background and previous management experience would be an advantage although not essential.

Key Responsibilities

Design and client contact

  • Writing of guides / questionnaires with input from manager
  • Day to day client contact updating them on progress

Fieldwork Management

  • Responsibility for the smooth running of fieldwork briefings
  • Pro-actively find solutions to fieldwork issues in collaboration with the field team
  • In depth interviews and group discussions with key respondents
  • Management of central locations with key clients present
  • Conduct interviews with clients present

Analysis

  • Oversee the smooth running of analysis process / data processing:
  • Analysis of findings
  • Ensuring analysis templates / analysis books / tab specs are optimally designed as per research objectives
  • Writing of full presentation with significant input from manager
  • Input into conclusions and recommendations / interpretation of main findings

Administrative tasks

  • Ongoing monitoring of job costs to ensure within budget
  • Monitoring / line management of junior members of project team / delegation of appropriate tasks
  • Attendance at presentations, as well as presenting small sections
  • As the role develops and the successful candidate becomes more experienced, they will start to play a greater role in proposal writing; needing to understand the methodologies and issues involved

Who you will be

Qualifications and Technical Skills Required

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Several years Market Research experience in a healthcare or consumer background
  • Previous management experience would be an advantage although not essential

  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
