A professional services firm is currently seeking to recruit a Researcher to join a small research team, based within their central London offices, on a temporary basis. The team provide business intelligence research on a regional basis. The temporary contract is likely to last for 3 months.
The Researcher will provide business, financial, company, sector and general research and information to support project research needs in addition to supporting business development, marketing and pitch initiatives.
Typical research will primarily consist of pulling data in response for defined information requests for information using your specialist knowledge of key research databases, especially Bloomberg and Capital IQ.
The types of research requests may typically include financial data, company information and briefs, data packs, press searches etc.
Applications for this temporary job are welcomed from experienced researchers who have commercial experience conducting research using research resources - this must include substantial experience and excellent knowledge of Bloomberg and Capital IQ.
You will also have strong knowledge of a range of other secondary research and information databases such as Euromonitor, Factiva, Amadeus, Fame, and/or Merger Market. Training is not available for this short term role.
You should possess a common sense approach to problem-solving , be able to meet tight deadlines and be able to take responsibility for managing your own requests.
This is a highly corporate, professional, busy corporate environment and you will be able to work with a range of stakeholders of different seniority levels and in different locations.
