Archive Administrator

​An Archive Administrator is currently sought, to provide administrative and general support, in particular to the Archives team and wider organisation.

The Archives team is responsible for archives, records management and data protection.

You will also support the Archives office and office management, support volunteers and undertake research activities, and deal with enquiries.

This position will provide more general administrative support to the office as well as assisting the team with some archival duties, basic records management and data protection duties.

You will support staff with enquiries, deal with visiting researchers, and learn and undertake cataloguing of new purchases for the reference library as well as in the Archive.Training is available for these areas.

Applicants should possess administrative skills and be willing to provide archival and information support.This could also suit someone looking to develop their Archives experience.

You should be proficient with MS Office including Excel.

You should be a pro-active and willing team member with strong customer service and customer care skills.

Your communication skills will allow you to deal with staff and the public effectively.

 

This is a permanent, full-time job opportunity in a highly regarded organisation and based in a very desirable work location.

 

It is likely that you will require your own transport as this position is based on site.
