​Information Officer – Law – London

A leading law firm has a new job vacancy for an Information Officer, to join a small Information Services team, based in London.

Key Job Responsibilities will include:

-        Dealing with legal and business information enquiries

-        Assisting with the maintenance of the Information Centre and library collections

-        Training

-        Assisting with journal subscriptions

-        Liaising with practice groups

A library and Information qualification is desirable, tho not essential if you have relevant experience with the key job and person requirements:

-        Experience of working in a law firm or commercial library

-        Legal and business research experience

-        Working knowledge of relevant research and enquiry databases such as Lexis Library, Westlaw, Practical Law etc.

You should have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a small team.
