A leading global law firm has a great job opportunity for a Junior Knowledge Solutions Analyst, to join the team in London.  This is a permanent job vacancy for a candidate looking for their second professional role. You will have experience in Knowledge tools to help support  effective use of existing technology to increase product value and lawyer engagement while also leading efforts to collect and maintain content related to efficient delivery of legal services within the firm. The Junior Knowledge Solutions Analyst will assist in advancement of the data, technology, systems and knowledge-based content within current products and development of new solutions


Key job responsibilities will include

Creating  and maintaining knowledge tools (portal pages, wikis, matter databases) and know-how repositories to ensure content is current and easily accessible via searching.
Maintaining product governance with regards to documentation, support and adoption
Gathering system requirements and creating or reviewing User Stories and acceptance criteria
Participating in Portal releases and executing smoke and UAT testing against newly released code
Monitoring  and reporting on system usage and performance statistics, developing action items tied to product goals.
Providing training to end users (classroom, online and video) and supporting onboarding efforts for new users
Acting as a representative for the team and a champion for process improvement
Handling real-time support requests, troubleshooting supported applications and coordinate with the firm’s IT department and vendors, when necessary
Creating work plans for projects to ensure the product lifecycle is well defined and executed successfully
Leading efforts related to the collection of knowledge and documents within Knowledge Solutions products
Collaborating with other departments to develop standardized processes through the use of technology
Participating in team meetings and helping with project management responsibilities including scheduling, taking notes, and providing team updates
Working closely across the firm to maintain data integrity and relevant content
Key person requirements to be considered for this job include:
-  a bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

- a high level of confidence with technology and aptitude for quickly mastering new applications.
- proficient in Microsoft Applications. Working knowledge of document management systems, SharePoint and Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira), a plus
- a good background in customer service and/or help desk function
 - an ability to work effectively in a team environment with a flexible approach to supporting colleagues

Experience in a commercial or professional services organization. Legal background preferred but not essential
