​Researcher - FTC - Law Firm – London and hybrid

A prominent law firm has a new Fixed Term Contract job opportunity for a Researcher based in London with a hybrid 3/2 working week. 

​

The Researcher position will be based within the Research Services team and will be an ideal role for a Library and Information professional with some corporate research experience to further develop their career in Research and Information
 

Key job responsibilities will include:

• Dealing with a wide range of business and legal research enquiries

• Providing current awareness services

• Developing and maintaining information resources

• Cataloguing

• Assisting with knowledge management duties

This is likely to be a 9 month Fixed-Term Contract in the first instance, with potential for extension.

This would suit an information professional with some experience of working in a professional services environment in a research and information role, even at a junior level.

​

A Library & Information Management qualification is desirable.

Further job and person specifications include:

• Possessing confident communication skills  

• Being experienced in online research    and familiarity with databases such as Companies House, Westlaw, Mergermarket, Debtwire and Lexis would be an advantage
