Heathrow

£35,000 to £40,000 plus bonus (To be discussed)

37.5 hours a week

Mon – Fri  9:00 am to 5.30 pm

Our Client is part of an established growing hotel chain who has a unique approach to the industry and are looking to further penetrate the marketplace with the recruitment of a Sales Manager who will report to the Regional Sales Director.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives to grow both current and new business
  • Define, develop and execute in-market sales strategies, tactics and action plans
  • Achieve annual revenue targets, grow new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and build strong customer relationships
  • Regular reporting and effective communication within organisation
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the brand to reach potential B2B (airports/ airlines/ banks/ corporates/ travel agencies, etc.) and B2C customer base
  • Selling the Premium Business Conferencing and F&B outlets and other products and services
  • Analyse and track partners’ performance to identify business potentials and opportunities
  • Seek out new major clients and forming working relationships with the key customers in the  market
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand the current competitive landscape for various products
  • Accurately forecasting future sales and market trends, adapting to shifts and direction of sales strategy in the marketplace to maximise company profit
  • Accurately track and update of sales pipeline and revenue
  • A disciplined approach to account management and tracking of sales calls
  • Regular maintenance of client accounts
  • Maintain effective control of local sales budget and expenses
  • Liaise with other internal departments to articulate clients’ needs accurately (e.g. Operations, IT, Legal, Finance and Marketing)
  • Travel may be required

 Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions

The Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ experience from within a sales discipline
  • Demonstrable experience in a sales role, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Understanding of the hospitality environment with a network in airline, banking & credit card products (advantageous)
  • Ability to take decisive action whilst working under pressure with good prioritisation skills
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence others
  • Strong ability in cross-team cooperation and project management
